Principal's Message
Dear Bearcat Families,
I am excited to enter my third year as Principal of Glendale Primary School. It is truly an honor to serve in such an extraordinary community, one deeply rooted in pride and tradition. I look forward to collaborating with each of you, as building strong relationships is vital to the success of the students we serve.
With eighteen years of experience in education, I am deeply passionate about creating meaningful connections and fostering a learning environment that is safe, inclusive, and engaging where all students can thrive. I firmly believe that every child has the potential to achieve greatness. It is our collective responsibility as educators—and as a community—to provide the support and encouragement our students need to succeed.
At Glendale Primary School, we are committed to maintaining a safe and nurturing environment where learning is rigorous, meaningful, and inspiring. I believe that strong partnerships between home, school, and the broader community are essential to our students’ success. I encourage you to be actively involved in our educational journey. Your support and participation are invaluable to the future of our Bearcat community.
I am eager to hear your thoughts and ideas on enhancing Glendale. I am here to support both you and your child in any way I can. Together, we can make this a positive, empowering, and memorable experience for every student.
I am proud to be part of the Bedford City School District and excited to continue our work to make Glendale Primary School a place where students love to learn and grow.
Let’s make this year the best year yet!
Warm regards,
Angela Siwik

Dear Bearcat Families,
My name is Mr. Jamal Hamm and I serve as the Dean of Academic Achievement here at Glendale Primary School. I am honored to have this opportunity to serve and be a part of an extremely dedicated staff and community. I am privileged to be entering into my 5th year as a school administrator. I look forward to working with our parents, community, and other stakeholders, as we work to increase student achievement and promote a positive school culture for all of our students and staff. I feel that my purpose in life is to help empower our youth and build future leaders.
I have served in some capacity in schools for the past 21 years. I have always believed that one of my key responsibilities is to clearly communicate the high standards of success expected of every student entrusted to my care and help each one find their path to success. Most importantly, I bring a belief that we must meet our students where they are and build upon their strengths. I look forward to the opportunity of serving your students and providing them with a safe environment for learning here at Glendale and contributing to the Bedford City School District community. Thank you for your time and if you ever have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to give me a call at 440-439-4227.
Sincerely,
Jamal Hamm
Dean of Academic Achievement
